Come join us tomorrow May 1st at 7pm for a special event. We will be screening "Red Gold" an environmental documentary featuring the Bristol Bay's people and culture around salmon, and the threat of a mineral and deposit mine that would change the ecosystem and long held fishing culture of the region. We will have guest speakers:
Justin Dyer, Trout Unlimited spokesman
Wayne Johnson, executive chef of Andaluca
Warner Lew, salmon biologist and fleet manager for Icicle Seafoods
to talk on the issues following the screening, as well as salmon to eat that is from Bristol Bay provided by Jeb Wyman |
