Moore Brothers Music instructors Luke Berman, and Aaron Otheim's band, "Speak", was nominated by Earshot Jazz for emerging artist and alternative jazz group of the year! The awards ceremony is February 15th. Good luck gentlemen!

An amazing performer with whimsical, thoughtful, original songs about laughter, hugs, climbing your own mountain and much more - singing with a strong, beautiful voice and playing the piano with that touch of elegance which only comes from experience.
To top this off, at 94 yrs old this year, Suzie has the energy and creativity that most of us can only hope to have as we grow to maturity. |
SMQ Percussion Quartet
The SMQ Percussion Quartet formed in 2007 by members Christian Krehbiel, Chris Lennard, Craig Wende and Brian Yarkosky who all met while earning music degrees at the University of Washington. The members of SMQ are each accomplished musicians in their own right, and together they form an incredibly versatile chamber group.
The group aims to link together the diversity of percussion in all of their performances, stemming from the knowledge of each of the groups members. Based in the traditions of classical and jazz music, the ensemble also has a unique blend of African, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music. |
